Anyone here has a Roomba vacuumcleaner?

Thinking of ordering one but anyone has any experience and willing to share?

best friend has one. He loves it. I've never used it though.

Saw it demonstrated on a tv show. They used a really dark rug and dark specks of dirt, and you could STILL see all the dirt it missed right on top of the rug.

If you have a flat yard, invest in a robot-mower. Way better use of the robot.

go to amazon.com and read the reviews of it.. a lot of pissed off people..
it is supposedly very loud, not very powerful and pretty stupid when it comes to getting stuck.. plus it doesn't last very long before it needs to be recharged..

Bought one for my parents. It picks up animal hair pretty well, I'd say it is good to run it but if you want deep cleaning get a regular vac.

Also it seems to have trouble on their older carpeting and odd shaped rooms where there are many places to get stuck.

If you've got a house without a lot of shit on the floors I think it would work better.

Have one, works well for pet hair. I set it down every few days between the maids visits and it does a nice job. When I dump the filter it always has a ton of shit in it. It also works well on Marble floors...
