We bought one 2 months ago and it helps alot. Add a few bug lights to the mix and you will kill 90% of them.

MikeAI has some at his NOLA house. Asking him would be a good start

Consumer Reports did a review on them about a year ago, but I can't remember what they said. I use bats and a good repellent

We use repellent by the jug, its especially bad this year because of all the rain

I wish I had taken a photo of the cartridge of dead mosquitos after the first 3 weeks. There were thousands of them dead in there and it was an awesome sight.

Unfortunately I ate them all, and it tasted like sweet victory

Aren't the really good ones like $1200 bucks? I thought I saw a site once that sold them, and the higher-end ones worked for quite a large property. I forget how far they worked for, but it was quite a distance.

I have heard that they are really good..

Just make sure that you also empty any standing water on your property. If you live near an area that has standing water have the county spray also . If they refuse, dump a few gallons of bleach into the water..

We lost a horse to westnile virus from a mosquito bite..

You would rather make a few animals sick from the bleach in the water than have you or your child get sick..

I do get rid of any still water, but I do have a running creek in the back yard. This year has been pretty bad for mosquitoes because of all the rain , usually by July when it warms up, a lot of them dissapear.I also have a zapper, but quit using it a few years ago, they kill too many other insects besides mosquitoes

I have 4 of the big ones on my property in New Orleans. They do work. I used to not be able to go out of my house at night without being carried off....

They are a good investment.

We live in the far south of Australia and I can't remember ever having a problem with mosquitoes. The opposite of when we lived up North.

I bought one 2 months ago and it really helped. I dont know if its any use getting now? Might be top late in the season. The idea is you kill all the female blackflies and mosquitos so there is a downsize in the eggs that get layed. Its not jus for a summer night.

They were talking about this on the Today show this AM. Said it takes about 4-6 weeks to get rid of ALL the mosquitos in heavily infested areas.
