The best compact digital cameras are the Canon Digital Elphs. I've owned a few of them over the years and I just upgraded to the Canon SD110.
It's the first Elph to use the smaller SD (Secure Digital) memory cards and a smaller battery. It's 3.2MP and takes great pics for it's tiny size. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/spec...anon_sd110.asp I picked it up for $265 a few months ago. Check www.PriceGrabber.com to find the lowest price.  |

I have the Nikon CoolPix 3200 It was around $299 I LOVE it. it has a great zoom lense and is very easy to use

See if you can get a cheap dimage A1, if you call £350 cheap. They kick ass for what they cost.
