Found the cause of my popups!
Ok, some of you know that I posted last week that I have some crazy popups on my PC. Well, I found the problem.... taskmgn.exe.... DELETE IT IF YOU HAVE ONE.
I looked online to see who was getting redirected to the same sites as me and this file was always there. There is info on it at microsoft and the file was created the same day I started getting the popups. I want to thank everyone that gave me help. Apparently none of the scanning software programs I used found it. Maybe they don't know about it, maybe they do. I'm going to contact all the companies and make sure they know. If anyone has information about the owner or creator of this fucking piece of shit, you let me know. Thanks again to everyone! |
