Just out of curiosity Pete, what would a ford muscle car guy like yourself say about someone building a beater ford escort for the quarter mile?

Edit: I'm into sleepers, and a beat up ford escort is about as "beater-ish" as you can get

Music to my ears. It did bring back also the memory of trying to light up a big Ford on today's gas. I used to have a '71 Mach One, 351-Cleveland dual 4-barrel setup.
