Evidence Eliminator = 149$ !!!!!!!
As of 15th May 01, the price for a single-user Evidence Eliminator
license will be $149.00 with similar increases for site licenses. Your link code will still entitle your surfers to a 10% discount off list price, and you will still be entitled to your same commisison rate on gross sales. This is a serious piece of software which justifies a serious price. ....We believe EE is under-sold even at $149 HA HA HA "serious piece of software which justifies a serious price" This guys will bankrupt if they do this. I reckon a lot of people must be paranoid about "security". |

The wordings on their webpage are pretty hilarious:
'Do your children or their friends use your computers? What have they downloaded and tried to delete? Act now! And stop these files coming "back from the dead" to haunt you!' -- Sounds like an ad for a scary movie. Well, you can use some lines of good ol' DOS to eliminate most of the traces. A good deal of money seems to be made on computer ignorance these days (e.g. the virus protection industry). |

The only bad thing I can say about EE
is that they don't punish spammers. In every newsgroup, some genius has to spam their EE link 40 or 50 times an hour *grrrr* I wouldn't mind making $1500 a month from them =) |

The thing that I don't like about it is that it can be good and it can be bad. Like on page for EE, it says that people at Dow were fired for viewing pornographic pics, I konw that if I ran a company like that and my workers were dicking around on their computers while I was paying them, I'd be pissed. So using this program makes people feel safe for fucking around while they're supposed to work. I guess that there would be a big market for that kind of software, he he.
Actually, what is the good use for this program ??? Kids aren't really smart enough to dig through your files to find the hidden content, which if they're on your computer, they could just look it up on the net anyways. I suppose that the biggest thing for guys to hide their browsing habits from their wives, which most of those women know what a guy is gonna look at on here anyways, he he. |

We have made plenty off EE though I agree their spam policy is a bit open to abuse. When a guy repeatedly spams newsgroups with his EE account code he should be penalised but EE don't appear to give a shit.
I like EE and have tried the product myself to see how well it works. Only thing I could not get it to do is remove the auto complete history in IE. EE also pays on time although this is no problem for me as if they don't I will just make a 10 mile trip and break all the windows. |

Anybody who thinks that EE is
going to protect them from cached items left on their firewall server deserves to be fired. |

Then there are the firewall logs, that show exactly what websites the employee has visited.

I agree that EE doesn't do shit for "protecting" people, really. Especially not in an employee situation. They just apply the same theory that the penis enlargement sites and lose weight fast programs do, but with a slight twist:
Encourage people to feel insecure and paranoid about themselves (or about their jobs). Insurance companies do the same ("Is your house safe right now? Call XYZ Insurance and get COVERED"). It's really quite dispicable (sp?) but hey... I used to get annoyed about there being so many idiots out there. Now I just think "the more the merrier!". As far as them doubling the price: I don't really care. If it works, fine. If not, I'll stop advertising them. I'm an "expert" at generating traffic, and they are experts at selling software. I hope (and believe) they know what they're doing. Their spamming policy goes like this: "The more you spam, the better it is. We'll do nothing about it." I guess I'm lucky that the newsgroups I frequent have not been targetet (yet). I'd be surprised if they don't run into the RBL soon if their bulk email policy is really that loose. That's gotta hurt even them! |

these dudes really try to scare people into buying their software:
http://www.evidence-eliminator.com/info2.shtml here's a clip: Pelican Bay State Prison (USA) "....putting a prisoner in a cell with a known assaulter and setting up alleged sex offenders for attack are not uncommon...." Cocoran Prison (California USA) "....Dillard, who weighed 120 pounds, fought back but Robertson was too powerful. He said he pounded on the cell door, banged at it in a way that the guards surely must have heard, but nobody ever came as he was raped...." ------------------ HQ HQ's Daily Nude http://www.hqdailynude.com/ Traffic Trade? http://www.hqdailynude.com/webmasters.html Free Content? http://www.oliver-klozov.com/cgi-bin...i?ref=hqdailyn [This message has been edited by HQ (edited 04-04-2001).] |
