IE will be king for many many years to come, as long as it comes packaged with windows. Please remember the overwhelming majority of surfers are clueless and will NEVER EVER change browsers. On that note I love my IE. Just so used to it and I see alot of fucked up sites and shit with those other browsers. IE for me for awhile I guess

![]() and the ones that are, are usually installing those "browsers" which are just souped up versions of IE. Ypou make a good point about FLash too KK I've notices a number of browsers are disabling flash because surfers want "faster loading pages" I don't design in flash now for that reason. I do what CD does - builes sites in Text Pad there was no such thing as a wysiwyg when I first hit the net |

ANY browser can view standardized website. that is the whole point to building a page that is "W3C" compliant, you are assured that all surfers view it in a similar way. |

This is a 2 sided coin, IE interprets non w3c compliant HTML very well, so you can see a page even if the webmaster has not written it to exact specs, Mozilla, Opera and other browsers do this too, but not to the same extent.
Because of IEs very good interpretation, webmasters have gotten lazy with their code, they dont have to write perfect HTML and it still works fine. There is only one way to get rid of this problem, and that if IE, Mozilla, Opera etc all did away with their interprative radings and only used w3c specs. This would mean everyone would have to write HTML properly. The obvious problem is that 99.9999% of pages on the net wouldnt work any more. I dont know of a single page of any decent size thats 100% w3c compliant, do you? Hell, GFY isnt even w3c compliant. The best you can do is write your own pages in w3c terms so everyone can view it. |

You complaining about a sponsor that has a site optimized only for IE .. and you have to change browser so you can visit that site. Wel if that sponsor just want IE users .. why bother going there if you don't use IE ... there are more sponsers out there ... And if you realy want to visit that site anyway .. and find it worth to change browser for that ... why complain ?

From his post: "... just to log into some sponsors because menus don't work or even fail to load. Sometimes a few sponsor even produce blank pages or the inability to login at all.." |
