let's hear who has kick-ass hits/day with their FREE SITES! i know that submitting galleries can get you up and over 100k/day (congrats Jamdin ). but i can't compare my work to that!

my max is about 17k/day. all my sites together have been as high as 25k/day i guess, but i'm more interested in an individual site.

what has anyone else here got?!

About a year ago I was doing like 150k a day with a network of free sites, that rocked but nowadays I do different stuff. Lots of luck though.

Go for money, not for hits. You can probably make more money form 1.000 SE hits than with 100.000 TGP hits.

NightLizard, 150k/day with a network of sites... wow. how many sites may i ask? my grand total on all my sites was probably 25k/day (as i said) but probably only 20-22k if you don't count the repeat uniques from one site to the next... if you know what i mean.

150k/day off free sites is amazing. that must have brought in some cash.

XM, i do compare money, not hits. but i'm just trying to compare myself and i have to compare with free sites! i'm assuming that most free sites get about the same $$$/hit ratio.

My highest traffic for a free site is with my www.jugesbikini.com site, which got 24,731 uniques on march 17, 2001.

My highest total traffic, is probably that same day, let's see... 6,728 uniques to www.weeklywallpaper.com, and 3,375 uniques to dailybikinibabe.com.

So in total, I got, some quick number crunching in my head that comes to 34,834 unique visitors in one day. Woo Hoo!! My goal is an even 100,000 / day consistently.

I think for the month of march, my average is about 20,000 + 5,000 + 3,000 = 28,000. Not too bad, but could be better.

I couldn't find any bikini pic gallery thats all, wanted to see some bikini pics so I thought on a bikini site they would be easy to find. No probs I found some at bikini central.

Yes, my site doesn't have much content, but it does have a new picture every day, and it has links to the previous 7 daily pictures. I am working on setting up the galleries now.

For the wallpaper, it links to www.weeklywallpaper.com, it has a new wallpaper picture every week, as the name implies, and it also links to the past 7 - 10 pictures, as well. I am working on galleries for this page, as well.

I am not sure what you meant by "Bikini central have lots in stock if you need some new bikinis." I don't need bikinis myself, I am the webmaster, not a surfer. I just show pictures of girls in them, rather than wear them myself Am I following you correctly?

ace0r, how many hits/day do you do you get off your free sites and how do they convert? i think i make about $1.00 off every 200 visitors. that sounds quite low

mrcocktale, how many sites? 60k on each site is amazing. so is 7-10 signs per day. i find most webmasters who try to run multiple sites can only maintain 1 or 2 of them at high levels of traffic.

7-10 signups/day = 8.5 signups/day average...
1:500 is the average signup ratio for AP sites = 4,250 hits/day...
1:500 ratio = 6 cents/click = $255/day...
= $93,075/year...
= good cash.

ace0r, i did read your post. simply amazing. i was just talking to some webmaster buddies of mine the other day about maximizing the use of our traffic. your post basically repeats and explains exactly how to do just that!

i use to use amateur pie and send tons of blind clicks to it... but why fucking do that?! why not use the signup program and only send good traffic to it, make the same amount of money, and NOT piss off your surfers, and NOT WASTE YOUR TRAFFIC AWAY! that's the jist of idea i had. you can expand that idea into almost every money program you use.

I get almost 0 traffic from search engines. I once tried reading all sorts of tricks about how to design your site to get more traffic from search engines... multiple gateway pages and the like... If any of you have any ideas that don't involve a ton of work... i'd be glad if you could tell me.

sorry dudes, i wish i could change the topic title now, cuz i didn't want to make this sound like a competition. i just wanted to get a grasp for how big i really am... comparing it to you free host dudes with 2,000,000 hits/day isn't much of a comparison at all, because we are not even close to being in the same category.

it's fairly easy to get 20k/day if you are a free host, but it's another ball game if you are trying to 20k/day to one of your free sites.

i feel that lots of free site webmasters aren't posting their results cuz they are lower than 20k/day... sorry for that guys. i want to hear what anyone and everyone is getting, i only care to find out who the #1 guy is so i can replace him

and it would be nice to hear the $/hit ratio you guys get too... it's the money AND the hits together that really paint the picture.

I read both of your long posts - the one you wrote, and the one you quoted, and they were good. Thanks for sharing that information with us.

Which brings me to reply to your reply above... I think what everyone is looking for is how to make the most $ / hr... not the most $$, or the least hours worked, which is sometimes what it sounds like - but that doesn't mean the person is lazy. I have a ton of ideas that all involve a ton of work that would make me a ton of money. Why aren't I doing them all? Because I have to work 50 hours/day for 50 years to make my $50 million. I'd much rather figure out a way to pull the same cash in another manner that better suits me. For example, let's say I could make $200,000 yearly, but I had to post TGP galleries for 8 hours/day every day. I wouldn't take that job. That's bullshit. What kind of job is it if you can't even take a day's vacation? I don't mean to make TGPs sound stupid, but it seems to me that a lot of people in them are doing a lot of work for a little bit of money. Some dude was asking about getting into the biz to pay his way thru school, and everyone shut him down. Shit, I should go reply to that post, now that I think of it. Anyway, people are like, yeah, i'm making $50/week after six months of work. That's ridiculous. If that's the case, start a lawn mowing business and charge $30/hr, and you'll be doing less work, you'll be outside, and you can pay the bills. I started a simple free pic site with a few new ideas (some weren't so new, but since I was a newbie, they weren't copied, but originated in my head), and they worked, and after a few weeks of a little work, I had $1600 / month coming in after my 3rd month, and I'd spend every sunday afternoon updating my site, with the whole week free to go outside and goof around. In another 3 or 3 months, this was double, and in another 6 months, it was double again.

What do you guys think about all of this? Am I talking about petty cash, and you all laugh at me, or did I do a half decent job and bringing the cash in so quickly?

Ha ha, I don't think free hosts quite count it. If my host were counted in this, he'd have all my traffic, plus everyone else on the host. That's not quite fair!

I'd like to see more people reply to this as well - I have a site that gets only 3 - 4k / day guys, c'mon, and let's hear what you got. I know most of you have multiple sites, so let's hear those totals, as well. Maybe we can get some good link exchanges out of the deal by linking up equiv. sized sites.

My biggest day for thefly.net was approx 60,000 visitors... converts pretty well w/ AP ;) I'm guessing that sites like tommys-bookmarks.com have close to 300k... I'll get there someday...

a free site is a site with free content (yes it should have CONTENT) and the free content is contained in galleries that the site itself owns, not from submissions and postings of other webmasters.
