help! my computer has a demon inside!
i ran spy sweep and my virus protection software, but for some reason when I click on a link, i'll get random porn sites popping up on my computer. Obviously, it's taken over my system...any advice on how to safely remove this?

Use these links:
http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=home http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html What's the link to the pornsites popping up? Its obvious your IE got hijacked and possibly changed or added a few things in your registry.

I had the same exact problem for several days. This is caused by a new trojan that isn't normally detected by spyware killers. I finally managed to save my computer from the nasty DeepAnal.us popups, etc. by installing Ad Aware 6.0 then clicking 'Update'. This downloaded the newest trojan definitions. I haven't had an issue since! You must update Ad Aware. Older versions didn't pick up the trojan.

I was taken down a couple of weeks ago so I'm hyper sensitive to this stuff now.
Ad Aware Pro and Trend Micro scan seem to do a decent job: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/hous...start_corp.asp |
