Well actually, a lot of Canadians don't have a clue what the deal is with Quebec and just want a Canada that treats all it's citizens the same.

What I find "interesting" is how the BQ said.. Oh no... this vote isn't about seperation.. and then that tune changes as soon as they win 50+ seats. The bottom line is that as much as the polititions say they want to do what's right for the people of Quebec etc., it's all bullshit. They want the power of being their own country and that's what it's all about at the end of the day.

I don't know how many referendums it's going to take & how much money it will spend & how many francophone immigrants it will allow into Quebec in order to get their votes to separate. Problem is, that the majority of the francophone immigrants want to live in a peaceful country - unlike the homes they have left.

When the PQ will realize this & get over it - scrap their separation bullshit, they will finally have grown up and perhaps they will work collectively to get what they need, maybe even what they want - without going solo.

In my opinion, two referendums were plenty, the issue is a dead issue. Canada is Canada, and people within it have the right to live whatever culture they want, but be Canadian first and foremost. Anyone not liking it can feel free to exit the country. (preferably with a swift boot to the ass)
