I think it is insane. Simply cut the crap out of your diet, get a bit more excerise (aside from sex) and do that on a regular basis and you will be fine. You stated that it was only a bit of weight you wanted to lose, maybe limit the McDonalds (for lack of a better example), you're not obese, you simply want to drop a few pounds......

I fail to see why sex can't be an exercise plan. 5-6 hours of sex will burn a hell of a lot of calories

I already don't eat McDonalds or any of the like, withthe exception of Subway. I've already cut down on some drinking, replaced some foods (like use mustard instead of mayo, drink whisky/water instead of whiskey/soft drink,e tc...)

That lost a few of the lbs, but just need to drop some more.

your body needs calories to function, carbs, protein and good fats at a min.

stay away from crap foods at all costs and excercise/weight train.

this diet sounds like complete shit

if you want to lose some fuckin weight, or gain some muscle mass, you do it the right way, the healthy way. don't try to look for the easy way out, or shortcuts.. you'll get fucked in the end.

ultimately you have to figure out your AMR, active metabolic rate (which is what i call it)..

it'll tell you your BMR, and then tell you how many calories you need to consume to reach your goal (roughly).

ATKINS IS BULLSHIT. People do NOT need LESS carbs. They need LESS SIMPLE CARBS. A good healthy diet should consist of approximately 40% CARBS. 30% PROTEIN, 30% FATS. Or some like to think 40/40/20.

Stay away from Saturated fats, and Simple carbs.

And then secondly, EXERCISE.

Perform some type of cardio during the day that'll get your heart rate up a significant rate, for a significant amount of time.

It's not rocket science, the hardest part to reach physical goals (or any goal for that matter) is first taking initiative, and then keeping consistant.

Ultimately sticking with it will pay off.

It tells me I have 14% body fat, so I'm only few % over what I should have (9-12%).

I burn 2400 calories at rest....is that good or slow ?

Hmmm....well let's take a single stick of celery for example.

If its 5 calories, are you sure you can't burn more than that in the eating process? Chewing (for me it takes lots of chews to swallow it), digesting it....

I would think its possible. Never read or cared ot read anything about ATkins diet though.

actually the high fat diet works if done right. its one of the best diets to lose weight quickly while maintaining muscle mass.
