but i must say... they are stupid to use for porn actors as they arent as accurate as PCR/DNA tests, or sensitive. PCR DNA can detect exposure/contraction within hours/days of contact... the home hiv kits are like regular blood tests and usually are only good from 3 months prior...

If theres no hiv in saliva, and you're not testing blood, then how do these tests work?
I mean is there hiv floating around the mouth of an hiv infected person?

Isn't it true that there are trace amounts of the virus in saliva, but there have been no cases reported of trasnfer via saliva.

I thought hiv can only be transmitted through blood, semen, pussy juice (whatever the medical term is for it) and breast milk.
Theres none of that in a clean mouth.

The concentration of HIV in saliva and sweat is not enough to infect another person. So don't worry about it ;) However HIV contains in ANY physiological liquid of infected person. So it is possible to detect HIV even by means of testing saliva. BTW, these methods are grounded on detecting the antibodies to HIV but not the HIV itself.

Yes, thses 6% mean that your condom may be broken during sex... I.e. only 94 or 100 condoms will remain undamaged... Think of it

On the other hand, I'd say it's better to use BOTH protections since 0.9988% (94% of 99%) is much better!
