As fuckfind said, porn design and mainstream design are 2 different things. Would be wise to get some more opinions from outside if possible. Another thing i want to address is the size, with 1.9mil visitors a 200kb header wouldn't be a right pick Well...good luck, and congrats to all contestants. THis one is by far my favorite. It has an excellent blend of the modern technical style, and older simple corp. look. I would also like to say thanks to krl and all of the designers. Why am I thanking anybody since I didn't participate? Becuase this contest was one of the best learning experiances. I've had a rare oppertunity to see how the pro's approach ideas, and work out and tweak concepts. This has helped alot in the way I look at graphic design. Great job by everyone that entered. |

We ended up liking combination component designs in each of the 4 designers below, and even with the help of independent opinions could only get it down to these 4 everyone liked.
Hamlet, Doornx, MR2, and Ella I'll be contacting the 4 of you with how we'll be going forward. Ella's everyone loved for a high impact tour style header and I think it will be perfect for our adult section on Men.com, so I'll be contacting you for that. Hamlet's the body layout everyone liked and he was the most favored. I and a couple others liked the top also, but a few people thought the top part was a bit too futuristic styled. Everyone liked the flash design skills of Doornx and MR2 the best. |
