A lot of talent that should've gone to college, is now being wasted, since players don't develop properly and aren't given the attention they need, they end up becoming nothing... People always make arguments like Kobe, Garnett, T-Mac, well if they went to college, do you think they would've been worst NBA players today? Probably not, in fact - T-Mac would probably play harder defense, Kobe would learn how to play teamball, and Garnett would be Garnett. The only way you lose players to the NBA from college is injuries. The NBA should not allow high schoolers to enter the draft, plain and simple. ![]() |

If all 100 went to college, maybe 20 or more would make it. |

NBA (and NFL) should do what baseball does, minor league teams. With collage it's four years, all or nothing, ready or not. with farm teams, the talent develops and moves to big leagues when they're ready. They can be trained in the system and learn what they need to for the team they'll end up playing on.

Well the NHL drafts at 18 but very few actually play in the league at that age. Just like baseball they have a minor league system which will allow the players to develop. I think the NBA should look hard at this it's way for all the teams to make money and cover their roster in the case of injury or that player that just happens to be a late developer that all of a sudden is ready to dominate in the NBA.
