The NationalNet team is so very giving and hospitable at the shows, it makes me sick to think that some motherfucker stole equipment from their suite. It's bad enough that so many people don't even say "Thank You!" when they come through.. I'll match the bounty Chris put on the thief under the same conditions. If they actually have "friends" that were aware of this, shame on them all. However, it's not too late for someone to roll on the thief - clearly the bounty here is now much greater than the laptop value. Turn the scumbag in! Brad

that's rediculous!! it just goes to show how lame some people are....come drink the free booze and then steal the hosts shit..happened to me once, I threw a party and someone ended up in my parents room(this was when I was a kid) and hawked my dad's rolex..I didn't know it was gone until weeks later when my dad went looking for it..
I'm a believer in karma and I hope that whoever stole this laptop gets hit by a bus...or loses his fingers..

I am so sorry to hear about this- when Bill told me the other day what had happened I was in shock- It's amazing the classless people that attend these tradeshows. On one hand you have people as nice as Sweet T who will bend over backwards to entertain webmasters- then you have the low lifes... If it's found out to be hotel staff that did it- I'll drive down there personally and finish him off for you guys Mission Bay is only 20 mins away and I know some people at the beach that would kill...just for a Tecate :-))

Thanks for the thoughtful posts in this thread....you guys make all of this worthwhile even though there are way too many losers in this business!!!
A few points for your consideration: 1.) The laptop, like most everything in our organization, is locked down pretty tight. I am not saying that a true hacker could not break the security on it, but usually thieves are not that bright. Yes, there is sensitive data on it....but good luck in getting to it. 2.) I don't really care about getting the laptop back at this point...I just care that I can prove who took it before I put a beat down on their ass. 3.) I will double what has already been offered for the reward by adding an additional $3500 in the reward pool via epassporte. Take that mother fucker! --T
