you wont get much out of that v8 engine, i got an a4 for the past 5 years i know what i am talking about, you can get maximum performance only out of turbo engines.

S4 :thumbsup

Manowar 06-24-2004 08:03 AM

M3 for sure

If those were my only two choices... I would have to go with the BMW... Audi's are mechanical pieces of shit. (or at least the one my cousin had was, that car was ALWAYS in the shop). :2 cents:

I'll let you know how much I like driving an M3 every time Cam turns his back. :)

Nathan 06-25-2004 12:33 AM

I would take the S4 over an M3 any time.

I find it a little sad that Audi changed the engine to the V8 in the S4, making it less tuneable like multiple people posted here. But its still an awesome car.

I would actually pick the S4 Convertable over the normal S4 or M3. Just too nice.

I guess Im biased, but I'd have to say the M3. Go test drive one, I guarantee it'll be one of the funnest cars you ever drive.

My M3 was recently totalled by a drunk driver, and after driving it so much...any other car is just dissapointing.

My M3 was rear-ended by a drunk driver on the freeway less than 2 weeks ago. Just got the estimate for damages yesterday... $16,125 USD. Good thing the drunk girl had insurance. It was just an E36 though, and was only worth about 20k - so they are just gonna total it out and write me a check.

What might you consider a really pimpin' house WG? :)

Not bad:glugglug

fuzebox 06-25-2004 01:38 AM

Damn, I forgot about the switch to the V8... That sucks, the only thing Audis have going for them is forced induction :)

adultwebware 06-25-2004 02:45 AM

M3 is much better, but needs more money on maintenance.

Daft 06-25-2004 07:02 AM

The S4 is a great car, but i love my M3!

I bought my first BMW 3 series in 1995,and have had 5 of them since then.My current is the M3smg.. On all 5 cars I have not had to spend a single dollar on maintenance.BMW even pays for the oil changes!:thumbsup

Brad Gosse 06-25-2004 08:04 AM

Audi is nice but I would take the M3 over it in a second.
