the C32 by amg is no slouch either.. some guys with basic tuning (less than $5000 spent) are running close to 400hp on those little cars
and can easily smoke an unsuspecting m3 or s4 :)

Hmmm spend $1000 or less on a chip and you have over 400hp on the S4.

You're somewhat mistaken.. the older body S4 was a twin turbo v6 that came stock with 250hp, which u're right, for about a grand u could get to 350hp..

The current body me is a tuned 4.2L normally aspirated v8 which comes pretty highly tuned from audi and produces less than 350hp .. but there is no chip that magically brings it to 400...

I get it back monday! My car is the Imola Red the same colour as the one posted earlier in the thread.

I actually agree with that. I'd rather have a descent car and own investment properties or a really pimpin' house.

Given the choice of the two I'd go for the M3. However, given a little latitude I'd go with the S6 - that's a sweet fucking car. Test drove on a couple years ago and OMG! I TRIED to get it out of control and couldn't - and I'm a very good driver; my dad let's me drive around the parking lot - I'm a very good driver....

Those are the 18's...

I may upgrade to the M 19's and keep the 18's around to have winter tires on...

or just get some fly deep dish 19" rims and make the car stand out even more.. (although i think it looks fine the way it is :)

Stay away from 20's with thin profile tires.. I had 20" hartge rims on my last car (a 540) and the cost of the rim is just the tip of the iceberg as far as expenses go...
Try tires at $700 a pop, an average of 2 bent rims every season (and couple hundr each time to fix), and absolutely ZERO cold weather/snow driveability..

Was turning left got caught in the intersection in a red, 1st car coming at me stoped, so i started to go the women in the 2nd land of on coming traffic ran the red light and ripped the front end of my car off basically. The engine had to be taken out and all rebuilt under and all the front end cosmetic stuff was replaced. 28000 Canadian in damage.

I would go for the S4 for sure. Far more mature car... The M3 is more like a kiddies car to me... Would never buy one. IF you got the money to spend.. go with the RS6. The engine sounds like a fucking racecar!! Will blow you away...

Definately the M3... I've driven the M more than the S4 (only a boot around the parking lot for that), but the bimmer feels like a bimmer, built for the driver. The Audi gives you this neutral feeling that you get from most AWD vehicles... Heavy with understeer.

Audi make nice cars. But the m3 takes it

Very hard to compare theses two cars,

The M3 is a drivers car, an all out assault on the senses, 100 MPH rear while drifts, while smoking a blunt and getting head, does not get much better then that!

The S4, is more civilized from the power, to the style to the all wheel drive, (See boring or practical),

Depending on the age, and what you want from a car should be the question, not a direct comparison.

The S4 is amazing! Dont get me wrong they are both beautiful cars! But the S4 is to me the perfect mix of class and performance, like all wheel drive and three hundred horse power....come on!

there are many M3s on the road... get an S4 !!
