Dollars.com Marketplace Follow Up Questions

Rick,

1) Are there plans to add additional billing solutions? Ex: cc processors, dialers, checks, etc.

2) Will the marketplace include multiple adult niches such as search engine marketing, pop traffic sales, etc.?

3) Can the system work in parallel to a cascading system such as MPA3, Monolith, NATS, etc.?

4) What are the general costs of association? Will it work like a membership to a stock exchange? Brokers, dealers, etc.?

5) Auditing the market and members. Will there be a third party system for regulation? Will there be a clearing house and how will it be managed?

6) How long has the platform been tested? What have been the major issues of implementation along the way?

7) Will Dollars.com be a U.S. or offshore entity?

More good questions.

I'm waiting for next presentation as I didn't have a phone to call from last one I watched. I'm sure some of these questions will be answered.

It's overall a great idea, I know others and myself have thought it up, though it's a big / full-time task to have it created.

It would be the perfect setting / infrastructure to create a self-governed adult intranet.

Cheers,
Matt

We currently have Epoch, CC Bill and Jettis integrated into the system. Only Epoch uses all of the functionality. They are the original backers of the system and I remain very loyal to them. Once we launch at Internext and the system takes off I hope to get the other processors willingness to provide the same levels of support and automation. Also, Epoch must be the primary for the system to work properly. That said, you can use your own merchant account if you choose. You just have to use their gateway. Additionally, we have No Credit Card integrated for dialers and Advertisers can geo-target their traffic to Sex Money if they so choose.

2) Will the marketplace include multiple adult niches such as search engine marketing, pop traffic sales, etc.?

Initially, we are keeping it just with tours. Dollars.com itself will have a PPC engine but not by the end of the year. Also, we can?t integrate database driven sites and maintain that the system is fraud proof. If we don?t host the tour, the advertiser can shave so we chose to not host database driven sites because of the complexity behind it and not add them to the system at all due to an unwillingness to allow advertisers to shave the system.

3) Can the system work in parallel to a cascading system such as MPA3, Monolith, NATS, etc.?

Yes. The tours sit parallel. We don?t host the domain. Your program exists in two dimensions, so to speak.

4) What are the general costs of association? Will it work like a membership to a stock exchange? Brokers, dealers, etc.?

Publishers only pay 20 dollars when they make a withdrawal from the Dollars.com bank account. They of course are withdrawing money that they have earned from many sponsors in one lump sum. Also, they can make withdrawals as often as they want rather than waiting for payment periods. Advertisers pay a set up fee some times. It depends on the complexity of their Adult Entertainment Network. If they only have a few sites and those sites have great original content, I?m likely to waive the fees to get their product in the system.

5) Auditing the market and members. Will there be a third party system for regulation? Will there be a clearing house and how will it be managed?

I?m open to any and all suggestions. Is there a third party system that can handle it? If so, I?m more than happy to have them audit us.

6) How long has the platform been tested? What have been the major issues of implementation along the way?

We?ve been building and testing for about 2 years. We hired a pretty intense software development firm to build the system and most of the flaws that we have found had more to do with bugs in our business model then they did bugs in the software. That said, we have changed many things over and over. The goal has always been to build a system that would help both publishers and advertisers and keep everyone honest and we learned a great deal during the last 2 years on how to get that done.

7) Will Dollars.com be a U.S. or offshore entity?
We are currently a Georgia Limited Liability Company

Agreed. The theoritcal essense of Dollars.com is the trade of adult traffic as a commodity. All players either consolidate, service, or monetize this traffic. Everything else is fluff. I strongly believe that this would serve to self-regulate the industry.

Pay to play: Since all members would be pre-qualified, the market would be more efficient since the cost of cheating would mean permanent banning. TGPs, gallerymakers, program owners, search engine marketeers all under one structured roof.

As a publisher, nothing. However, you have to send in goverment issued proof of your existence before you can take your money out to prevent fraud.

As an advertiser you must be a real company and prove that you are a real company. Also, you must prefund your commission payouts so neither myself nor the publisher gets stuck.

It would be interesting to see an auction system for traffic and sales and, as an extension, a futures system to help minimize risk.

Our first and primary goal is to launch a stable and secure system. It's an object oriented design with over 40,000 java files. It's an absolute monster software project to say the least. We now have the infrastructure to add layers of features. I can promise you that we will have a regular rollout of updates that will be hard to keep up with.

I just realized the formating of that came out all wrong.

1) Are there plans to add additional billing solutions? Ex: cc processors, dialers, checks, etc.
