Playing devil's advocate here just remember that.

War means you kill the other side. If you are in the military or a militant you will do so. If you are in the military your opinions do not matter you do it because it is your job. If you are a militant it is ALL based on opinion, you MAKE it your job.

A country is not at war with another, the people in power in those countries fight each other using those they can get to do it.

Damage has been done to them in the past that a lot of us in our infinite wisdom do not know about. To some of them these actions are justified by that, to others it is not.

If killing yourself while killing large amounts of people is cowardly then i ask you, are you brave enough to be as cowardly as they were? Anytime you can overcome the fear of death and cause harm to yourself outside of an escape from how "terrible" the world is to you then I find it hard to call it cowardly, this being said i can not call it truly honorable.

Those who are following the religion in its oldest and purist form will not be happy with us just pulling out. Just as the bible was used to get christians together to kill them on sight they too can be roused to kill all outsiders to dominate. So pulling out and saying we are sorry for all we have done to harm you will make many happy but to others our being on this planet and not being like them is a travesty and we should be purged. Some people want peace and others do not, but till we all get together and say let's all hold hands and mean it, there will be war.

The arabs have been saying this would all happen for a while, some of us who are not typical westerners who admit there is life outside of North/South America and Europe have heard it and watched them make it true. This is not about 911 or even desert storm, not alone. This war started long ago before any of us were even here.....some people know how to hold a grudge!

Who the hell gave us the democratic right to be the only one with them? Why should the rest of the world allow us to have all the weapons when they have none? Because WE are the GOOD guys?

Most of us do not allow the police to be the only ones with guns, to propose such would be called STUPID amongst other things. So why on a larger scale do you think that because we are in America WE are the good guys and only WE should have nukes? Because WE know WE will not launch them and we know they will. How do THEY know that. Even in our mentality in the west, the best way to keep someone honest who has a gun is to have one yourself. So how exactly do we get to tell other countries that because we would be afriad of them if they had just as much fire power that they can not have it?

When you can answer that logically then you will have something. Plain and simple we do not trust anyone else and no one else has been shown beyong a shadow of a doubt whey they should trust us, so fuckin right they are going to arm themselves. Sorry to say it but if we have them other people are going to try to have them. Disarming everyone would do it but that is impossible, there will always be someone wanting an ace up their sleeve. Sometimes there is no clean answer, sometimes there is only war.

last I checked, more than just the US has nuclear weapons.
It's in the best interest of the entire world to not let fringe countries have nuclear weapons.
And if we have to go kick ass on some country developing them because we feel threatened that they might wake up in a bad mood one day and use them, then so be it. A country like Pakistan having nuclear arms is extremely scary as it is.
