Hi I'm new to this board, but from looking at the strange topics, I already feel right at home.
I have been noticing a few things since I started making sites.
Has anyone else noticed that they

-smoke 4 times as much

-think they still have plenty of time to do things. The sun is still up, but then realize it's up because it's 8 am not 8 pm

-began to recognize pizza delivery people, because they have been to your place every single day for the last week

-turn on the tv not to watch, just so the neighbors don't think your dead because you haven't left your place in a week

Maybe I just need a vacation.

The only adverse thing that has happened to me is that I get 3.5 hours of sleep instead of 4.5.

I don't drink coffee or smoke either.

How do you like them apples?

Lots of times I will put off going to the grocery store until I finish what I am doing on my sites, but by the time I am done. The stores are closed for the day!

I too seem find myself doing odd things..
I don't smoke, but I do have several bags of candy around at all time...
And I find myself looking at girls in the bar thinking, "oh yeah, you are girl of the month material.." or "how would you like to be 1600x1200 full res baby no compression for you!"

as for food... I found a local company that brings me food once a week for a very resonable price, plus I have a liqure store that delivers as well, and girls... IN/OUT service is pretty common. AND TIME...
If your not in a hurry it will always be there... Time doesn't really exist we jest created it so we didn't feel overwhelmed and so we could use it to gauge how long we could fuck. I could have created seconds and minutes and been QUITE fine...

I finger a first post should be meaningful and not just mean.

I've found myself in less excess acutally. Weird. I get up way earlier than I ever wanted to. I actually joined a gym to counteract sitting on my ass all day, and my evenings are free to write my music. No wonder I'm not making enough money. I'm going to fall asleep on my mouse tonight like Lightning.

Hello from a fellow Nebraskan who has been in the business for 3 yrs but just came to the GFY today. :-)

I'm not a smoker, and cant stand coffee...but I do find a lot of caffeine in any form possible all around my desk at home and at the office *LOL*

I also have the problem of always thinking about work! Great ideas hit me in the middle of the nite, when Im watching TV, when Im at the grocery store...anything! Then I have to immediately get to work on them. :-)

Welcome naked chick, I do fully under stand what your going through but as you get use to it you will also learn that sleep is only a state of mind. You see the trick is not to get to much sleep, but also to not get to little. I found that if I get between 3.5 and 5 hours of sleep a night I will be just fine and be able to function just fine in society the next day. But when I get between 5.5 and 7 hours sleep a night or day (whatever the case may be) I fell more tired the if I got 10 hours sleep.

You see the body goes through cycles when you sleep. Every 4 hours the body will achieve REM sleep; this is your deepest stage of your sleep cycle. The trick is to not wake yourself up during one of those cycles. Try that out and see if helps any.

well i started drinking energy drinks like Guarana, Red Bull ... but I had to turn to less expensive option - lots of coffee, and I have all the damn symptoms of sleep deprivation, but what the fuck i have work to do

and i smoke much more than ussual too.
