Welcome naked chick, I do fully under stand what your going through but as you get use to it you will also learn that sleep is only a state of mind. You see the trick is not to get to much sleep, but also to not get to little. I found that if I get between 3.5 and 5 hours of sleep a night I will be just fine and be able to function just fine in society the next day. But when I get between 5.5 and 7 hours sleep a night or day (whatever the case may be) I fell more tired the if I got 10 hours sleep.

You see the body goes through cycles when you sleep. Every 4 hours the body will achieve REM sleep; this is your deepest stage of your sleep cycle. The trick is to not wake yourself up during one of those cycles. Try that out and see if helps any.
