Yesterday made a purchase of 41.77 CAD epassporte took $37.64 usd thats about 1.1 canadian for every usd
while @ the bank exchange rate is 1.3525

mistake i don't think so i send them about 4 email in the period of 2 weeks no repsonse...

paypal is much better they let the canadian banks calculate the rate

300.00 CAD withdrawn epassporte takes $229.29 that was 2 weeks ago when the rate was 1.37

That's an unusually low exchange rate. Not sure why that would happen but I would try to contact someone at ePassporte about it.

$41,77 in canadian currencies with the card

Then Epassporte charged the card $37,64 in USD.

$ 37,64 USD = 51.8 Canadian in a normal bank.

So Epassporte charged 10$ for a 41$ purchase.

There must be a mistake because that's fucking insane

Western Union lost a class action lawsuit for a similar case like this. They better watch out if they're gonna do some shady business like that.

Money transfer services aren't supposed to make profit from exchange rates.

There is no fee to make a purchase with an Electron card. Nor do we control the exchange rate in any way, shape or form. We always transact in US dollars, so whereever you bought the goods from must have a bank that loves to tack on fees.
