im sorry i know this has been beaten to death, but i need an image cropper and still cant find something decent..

i used to use photoshop, but i no longer have it and it's not worth the money to buy it. all i need is this:

- be able to have a fixed size cropper square thing and be able to drag it around the image.
- be able to easily scale the image easily

and it must have good usability. would be nice if it were free too.

the olny free prog I can think of that will do what you need is Gadwin screen print. It has settings that allow you to capture part of your screen defined by dragging a square out. I use it for making photoshop tutorials, and the quality of the image is the same as it appears on your screen....not bad for free.
