I'd try to turn it into more

I would spend some of it on a house and 2 new cars, a new boat... After that, I would invest the rest. I would be an entrepreneur of my name. :-)

A million dollars is something a lot of people have - it's very common. In other currencies it's eg 774K Euros or only 531K UK Pounds.

Unless you just got unleashed with money and go raving mad spending it and trying to impress people - it would not change your lifestyle much. Hell.. I got more than that and holding a far more on behalf of other people - and it has little bearing on my lifestyle.

People matter far more than any money - but it can take a while to learn this :pimp
