I use PS to create all my banners but I also use Jasc Animation Shop 3 (comes with Paint Shop Pro) for quick animated banners and buttons....
Am I missing something in PS that does this better?  Ivy |

FIreworks Compresses Better. I design in PS and then Animate in Fireworks. Works great

you can use ps to make the layout and then switch to fireworks or imageready to animate the banner and optimize it.
