Probably means that you can't run your email server from your home network because you can't accept SMTP (mail) traffic which comes through on port 25.

Sounds shitty.. wonder why they did that?

Seems to be more and more ISP's are going this way. BellSouth just did this also.

Someone should put up a dyndns type of service for SMTP fowarding / port remapping.

We just went with Comcast cable; and, so far, our email server isn't blocked.

Get the Comcast Pro Package ($95 in NJ) 5 static ip's, 5 megs bandwith and you can run servers,vpn's or whatever else you want. It sure beats having to deal with their bullshit
