we didn't think we would like it xcause of the whole tom cruise thing, but he did really well in that flick

HAHA... I said the same thing! It definitely makes you aware of the lack of honor and respect in today's society. It made me wish I lived in a time/place where pride, dignity and honor still meant something.

Tom Cruise as a Samurai ... I thought it was going to be so fucking stupid, and it ended up being one of my favorite movies of all time.

I was blown away, great movie!
