my wife was actually commenting during the movie that she had a new respect for the samarai and would love to go and learn from the masters.....just because of their values and way of life

she was not serious, just more of a statement....that movie really was awesome

HAHA... I said the same thing! It definitely makes you aware of the lack of honor and respect in today's society. It made me wish I lived in a time/place where pride, dignity and honor still meant something.

Tom Cruise as a Samurai ... I thought it was going to be so fucking stupid, and it ended up being one of my favorite movies of all time.
