I haven't had any problems with them. My ratio has stayed the same even during their down times. The fact that they compensate for problems beyond their control is pretty amazing to see in a sponsor unlike some that go down for days and you have to go searching a message board to find out why. I give these guys a huge thumbs up for the great way they take care of their webmasters.

if you'd ask that question 2 months ago i would say they are the best sponsor i've ever had.

but since then things were getting slow.
for exemple , 2 months ago when i was listed at thehun in the 40th spot or something like that i earn double then i earned when i was listed next week ago in the 6th spot.
this was with the same gal design.

how can you explain that?
well , either you are right and they started to shave or it just could be that join4free starts to get familier and most of the surfers seen it million times already so no wonder things are getting slow...

they paid $1.5 with no deductions and the ratios were awesome.
they still didn't go back alive.

DarkJedi, GEE you seem to know sooooo much about Join4free don't you? Hmmmm, let's see here... You started the program December 2nd... You sent 172 uniques for the entire month of December and you converted at 1:9. For January you sent 6 uniques and converted at 0:6. You're right.... something looks awfully fishy to me. With all that traffic you worked so hard to send, you should have been able to put your kids in college. Why dont' you stop shooting off your big fucking mouth and call me or anyone else here at join4free and would be happy to go over your account with you.

haboles, since your traffic was a bit more substantial, I won't post your hits. BUT your conversion ratios were Oct 1:9 Nov 1:7 (great job by the way) Dec 1:10 and Jan 1:10. Your conversions were consistant with your traffic flow and if you ask me, you made some pretty good cash for thehun traffic.

As far as shaving goes, it is virtually impossible for us to shave. There's no need to shave. If we had a problem paying webmasters, the payout would simply be dropped a bit. Unfortunately, we had about a 14 hour downtime due to our host not giving us enough bandwidth.... though this was out of our control, each webmaster got compensated for a full day... the amount averaged out over the prior weeks time.

My advice to you before starting any 4free type program is to sign up as a surfer first. Then you will get an idea of the process the surfer has to go through to sign up. Make sure the site is lightening fast (we all know that makes a huge difference)Check out the tour, and take note of how many steps the surfer has to go through to get to that final email confirmation link.

Also, just to let you know, we will be using a new front end to our general Join4free site that should make conversions skyrocket once again. And we have also added a "quick signup" box at the top of the tour... this has helped some and we will continue to do everything possible to keep the webmasters happy and make sure the program is as profitable as possible...

haboles, I'll keep the wrestling idea in mind .... sometimes when there's a fluctuation like that with the same sales tactics and the same traffic source, the difference can be the galleries that surround you. I've personally noticed this but still, it shouldn't have been too much of a difference

As for you darkjedi, your other account was started last week and you've sent ZERO traffic so YOU can GO FUCK YOURSELF.... Also the url that you added to the database is a 404 error... the surfer has to sign up through the page that you manually add AND go through the confirmation email, not the linkcode itself. So follow the instructions before making a fool out of yourself.

Well, you made some serious accusations there and I assure you that we do not shave. Pardon me for being so rude because by the sounds of it, I believe that you did try to sign up.

But what I'd like to know is #1 What date and time did you sign up? and #2 Did you fill out all of the survey AND go through the confirmation link and make it to the members area?

Strange, I signed up under myself and had no problem with it. Did you answer the survey questions correctly? If you just put bullshit, if I'm not mistaken, it's not counted as a signup. Their system isn't that confusing, you just enter a real email, enter a password, answer the survey questions, then confirm your subscription. *shrug* I dunno.... the program works fine for me.

I'm the programmer from Join4Free. Rrred dragged me on here to explain this to you, lol.

Join4free works by session id's. You probably went to join4free, and got a session id(jfree_li=XXXXXX). That session was registered to whatever webmaster you came from, and lasts about an hour. You can leave the site, click on somebody else's link, etc, and it won't matter, cause you are registered as your session id. So you went to your site, clicked your link, and signed up, but it didn't show up. That's to be expected, cause you already had a session id.

Give this a try.

1) clear your cookies
if you don't know how to do this, just wait a few hours without visiting join4free.

2) visit your site and click your link to us

3) sign up, and make sure you get far enough to fill out the survey

4) wait up to 10 minutes and you will see the signup.

You'll see that we don't shave. This might sound confusing, but a normal surfer wouldn't have a problem as they wouldn't have a previous session id with us. With any 4free type program, we've got to have strict regulations on how we accept traffic or else people would cheat us.

Don't forget about our referrer-checking. Rrred tells me the page you have listed with us gives a 404 error. Our system checks where your traffic is coming from and makes sure it matches what you list with us. You might need to click "Add a Site" in our webmaster area and register a new site. If you do, make sure you use your new code to send traffic.

And make sure that code is on the page.... it checks the referrer.... if you just cut and paste it in the browser it can show up like you email spammed and it will not be counted.

Also, I just talked to Bruce and he mentioned that you emailed him this morning and he responded... did you get that email? Just want to be sure that there's nothing wrong with the mail.. he said he mentioned to you about your url not working.

I invite you to shoot me an email [email protected] and let me know what webmasters say that we shave. I'd like to get in touch with them and see if we can take care of their confusion. I have not seen such accusations on any boards and I check them on a daily basis. Thank you

I've shyed away from join4free because I don't want to take any traffic away from my other sponsers. I know at least one guy runs a TGP and swears by it, but i hate to mess with something that seems to work. I did sign up for one of the sites, it wasn't bad.

But I really enjoyed reading this thread.
