There great! I've used them now for around a year. Never a problem that wasn't taken care of fast by there techs.

I did until they went down for 3-4 days last year. Nice people but that doesn't pay my bills. I sleep well with my sites at webair.

Something that alot of people overlook when buying hosting is what kind of hardware the host uses.
Everyone is concerned with pricing and tech support which is great....but having great hardware often times eliminates the need for alot of tech support. (Who cares how fast the techs respond when your cheap IDE drive or celeron processor fuck up all the time?) Techie's hardware is top notch, no cheap shit and no out-of-the-box Dells. When you order a server they build it for you from scratch. Also, tech support there is great, tickets are usually handled in 5 minutes or so. Bandwidth is GREAT, I LOVE Level3 !! Also, Jim gives a pretty good reacharound. ![]()

Sylver7, I dont want to get into a piss match on a good thread of Techies, but that downtime was scheduled and only affected a few people they host, and those affected were given huge credits. It was only caused because they were moving into their new data center after they out grew their original home. I've been with techie for a few years, and they simply rock.
High Quality I see you were trying to make a good comment for Techie, but I would think that if you talk to techie (Jim) he could meet or beat any deal offered by webair, and truth be told, like Lenny there posted, Techie uses only pure Level3 bandwidth, and totally awesome servers, and their tech support is tops. eddie-executive I would definitely recommend you talking to Jim ![]()

I've been with them for almost 2 yrs and I'll NEVER leave! Jim and the entire "techie team" is top notch and they are 110% reliable! When I file a support ticket it gets done and someone is always around... one of the best hosting co's in the biz

I'm also with Techie Media and I love them. Moved to them after the likewhoa fiasco. They helped me moving all my files from likewhoa without any downtime at all. Great guys over there and if you need something they usually respond within 5min. You can't go wrong with them eddie-executive

We have our hosted galleries with them and have had since December........ top notch all the way.

I moved to techiemedia at the end of last year. I made the switch not for pricing (which was great), and not for the hardware (which happens to be the best), but because I had a problem with a site techiemedia was hosting.
Jim called me back promptly and helped me resolve an issue with someone on one of their virtual accounts. We spoke for a bit and I was taken back at the care I was getting over a fairly small matter and I was not even a paying customer. I inquired about the various plans they had and Jim was more than willing to work with me on setting up exactly what we needed and at a price I was more than comfortable with. To date the support has been more than excellent, any problems have been always given top priority, and not once have I felt like I was being nickle and dimed over small things that so many hosts charge for. I would not host anywhere else if given a better offer, which I have been on several times. |
