Getting more $$$ out of each customer - GoFuckYourself.com

I am struggling on trying to figure out which is the best way to sqeeze out more money out of a same customer:

A. Month to month recurring
B. Multi-month one time fee discounted

Pros for A:
- No discount
- More loyalty, so you don't have to fight for this customer's business again once their membership expires
- No liability to customers ( meaning you don't have long term service commitments to customers who paid long in advance )

Pros for B:
- Makes a customer commit to a longer term
- Money upfront
- People who would never sign-up for recurring memberships will sign up for this option.

Any thoughts, webmasters?

Most paysites don't offer mult month memberships so there probably must be a reason for that...

I had some 98$ 1 year refunds... that hurts

They all of a sudden want a refund after like 6 months... grrrrr

Thats the problem with multi month memberships. Your always going to be held accountable until that membership expires or is chargedback. Instead of the surfer paying a monthly fee, YOU owe the surfer. They have paid their money, and you damn well better deliver that service.
Monthly recurring seems to be the way to go. As long as you have constant updates, fresh QUALITY content and a decent members area you should do great.
