I'm buying a Miniature Pinscher(doberman)...PIC!!!

Yay!!! I'm gonna buy that little dude today! Going to the pet shop in about an hour... I called all the pet shops, the prices ranged from $550-$990.00, but then I found one for $499..

Its only eleven weeks old, has its first shot and heart worm, and it has a microchip in him...

Anyone else own one of these? Post your pics and what you think about the dog... I'm gonna name him Achilles

My parents had one for awhile. It was all fucked up in the head. All it ever did was sit around and shake and when it wasn't shaking it was shitting or pissing all over the place. A totally fucked up dog.

I had a Jack Russell Terrior... well, I still do. But my sister just got married and took him with her. So I'm getting this little dude to take his place .

The Pinscher and the JRT will play all the time though. My sis only lives twenty minutes away and I'm always at there house.

The JRT is hyper as all hell. When we first got him(Eight weeks old) he would always fall asleep on your shoulder. Not any more though.

But I think I'm ready for hyper dogs

Yeah, from what I've read so far I hear they are really good companion dogs, and very obediant(If trained properly)

True i do agree 100% all dogs are really good dogs long as they are (trained properly) , people say "pitbulls are bad /etc " i dont think that .. It's the handler of the dog really .. so go on and get your puppy and post some pics

I have had mini pinschers for a few years now, they make great buddies.

BUT

Be prepared for a little badass dog that LOVES to bark at everything. They are super duper protective and anything that they hear like in the middle of the night they blow up barking and growling. At least that is what my dog does. He growls and barks and howls and grumbles at everything. But they are fantastic little alarm dogs.

Actually I guess it also depends where you live. The more people that come near his territory the worse the barking!

At the same time it only takes him about ten minutes to acquaint himself with visitors and then he won't leave them alone and wants attention and to play.

Just please do not think that because mini pins are small they are easy like other small dogs! They are known as the king of the mini breeds and require way more attention than other small breeds.

The first year they destroy everything. My dog even climbed up on an expensive keyboard and was trying to leap onto the kitchen counter once when he was about 5 months old trying to get an unattended t-bone steak. Really smart and conniving little fuckers too. But they are my favorite small breed dog.

Make sure you get to see the parents! Make sure the parents have a nice disposition and personality or you may wind up with a poorly bred animal with problems.

And remember, if you don't know anything about big doberman pinschers and that this is a bred down version, you will be stuck with a fierce little devil dog. Big dog, small body. They are unlike any other small breed so far as I have seen.

fuck the rules - they were not written by the dogs, they were written by assholes who do not get their tails or ears cut off.

Do yourself a favor and train it from the start, first thing first, not to bark unless you tell it to. Our neighbor has one and that thing barks at everything that moves, and it's a high pitched horrid bark too.

You my friend are an asshole

do you still have your umbillical cord ???

EXACT same fucking process .... it dries up and falls off on it's own ... it causes the dog no pain, there is no blood, and nothing is cut !!!

clipping and stacking the ears is a different story, but the dogs do not have any trauma from it.

you think the tattoo they put inside it's hind haunches does not hurt the little fucker ?? nobody seems to bitch about that though ??

Ignorant PPL really make me laugh

never ever ever buy from a pet stores...you're keeping them in business by doing so and helping run puppy mills, and taking puppies away from their mothers too early so they can sit in tiny little boxes all day and night in a pet store...talk about evil.

...rant over.
