Whenever the hell they feel like it.. pretty much.

I get the googlebot visiting my sites every couple days though.

I don't know about that, but I put up a new site today and it's already been hit (robots.txt) by google, askjeeves, something called "LinkWalker", and a few "unknown" bots.

That LinkWalker hit my robots.txt 81 times..

I just checked on google - LinkWalker is a bot from seventwentyfour.com, a web site promotion company. I smell spam coming
