First time i went to the USA, i had a very very bad impression: people were rude, not friendly at all. But still, i gave the US a 2nd chance and i met some really great people and been to nice places.
Idiots and unfriendly people are everywhere. The opposite is also true.

That is a valid point, but there are stark differences between the reasons behind the wait as well as actions during that waiting period. While the French chose to sit out and wait and see how things panned out before lending support, the United States actually rewrote existing U.S. laws to provide the Allies with arms, raw materials, and equipment. The U.S. provided almost $50 billion dollars in aid total to 38 Allied countries prior to officially committing troops to the conflict.

Yet another reason the U.S. was kept out was because of strong isolationist views that thought this was not our battle to fight. Strange that this is the same way most European countries think the U.S. is supposed to act, to mind it's own business, right? Last time we took that position, 2/3 of Europe was defeated...

At the time the U.S. entered the war, the Russians were barely keeping the Germans out of Moscow, and France was occupied. Aside from Britain managing to stand against the Germans, what other allies were "Doing all the work"? Losing is not doing all the work, and when someone originally not involved in the conflict comes in and liberates your country, yes, they are saving the day.

You still didn't address the question of why half of the population of France capitulated and even collaborated with the Germans, instead of fighting to the end to save their country? What part of "PUSSY" is not clear?
