Hoes.com Sponsor Stats For May

Hi,

Quite a few surprises in last month's stats. Some of the newer sponsors are really kicking ass which proves that the little guys are sometimes hungrier and work harder to take a piece of that webmaster pie away from the powerhouse sponsors.

---------------------------------------------
Hoes.com Sponsor Stats May 2004:
http://www.hoes.com/sponsors/
---------------------------------------------

Here is what this is all about for those of you who haven't seen our thread before:

Because we advertise so many sites across so many niches using so many sponsors, the many webmasters who submit to us daily tend to often ask who we recommend for reliability and conversion success.

Instead of just posting links to a few of our favorites, we decided to compile our stats from month to month and post them for all to see. Basically, we offer a ranking of the top 20 or so sponsors that converted for us during the month.

We plan to update this every month and hope that it helps a few of you to make an educated decision about which sponsors to advertise.

It's a standard AFF account. They now count members that leave and come back. They keep a history of the referring webmaster so that even if a customer cancels and rejoins six months later, you will still get credit.

That has definately helped out the bottom line.

AFF has treated me very well. I promote them in each category at hoes.com using slightly different advertising text to match the niche of surfer on that page. My surfers in the "black" category will see something like "Ebony Women Looking For Casual Sex" and it helps to really target that traffic to the sponsor for increased sales.

In order to avoid people accusing me of "cooking the books", I have decided to leave my own program out of the rankings :-)

I want everyone to understand that the stats aren't doctored in any way and that could be questioned if Zarniacash was high up in the rankings.

It did pretty average...

1:733 last month

That seems to be about what most webmasters are seeing with the program.

ARS used to be (by far) the largest money maker for me until they re-invented themselves. It was fun getting new toys with those awards points! I need to add some additional sites that they have recently released to bring up the amount of traffic I send to them. I'm not really sure how hard I will promote the CHAMPS system though. Those BYOT systems leave the door open for false advertising and exaggerated content claims. We'll see though. Hopefully they will screen those new tours very carefully and not release hundreds at a time.

haha... back in '97 / '98 you could make incredible money jerking people around... my two biggest money makers were:

1. Xpics (of course)
2. Bannersolutions (20cents a click)

there was just nothing to it back then.

I changed both adult.com and gigacash over to the console-free versions and so far things are looking up. I'm hoping this trend will continue. Sometimes the console free versions convert much better for certain sponsors. I think the console chains and popunders are getting a bit out of hand and do nothing but water down the site being advertised.
