There are actually two reasons :
1. This camera is the least cost-effective I've seen in years 2. Ever heard of Nikon's D70 ? .... seriously, it is WAY better for a lesser price. Think about it

well i have a 14n and it is a great high resolution camera, but i wouldn't buy it just for web work. the SLR/n will give you one stop more iso, but it is still too slow for good available light---it is basically a strobe only camera for me. images look like medium format, and inkjet prints are superb, but you'll need a computer with plenty of horsepower to handle 14mb raw files and 40mb tiffs. but if you are are photography nut and maximum image quality is your god there is probably not much competition---even canon 1ds has smaller file size---and since it is a full-frame camera your wide angle lenses now are true wide angle. for speed, color saturation, and quick web work cheaper cameras are better---if you fancy canon lenses the digital rebel is hard to beat, if nikon lenses the d100 or d70 is great for web work. d1x is also great, and very good in low light and fast action (mardi gras, etc.) |

If your mainly going to be shooting web content... Look for price... We shooters in the adult industry are hard on cameras... We shoot the shit out of them... I'm on my 3rd canon in 3 1/2 years.
None of these cameras are intended to be used how we are using them. It's not uncommon for me to shoot 1300 pics in a full day shoot. They just don't hold up... they are good cameras, they are just not made to withstand the way we use them.... That is why I can't see why a lot of the content guys are selling stuff so cheep... Not me, I know what my time & work is worth! Just my opinion... Denny Studio Twenty Eight |

I currently use the olympus E-20n with the FL-40 flash. I hate the Low light results with only a 320 ISO setting. Does Great outside... The other main feature I hate is No Buffer, 4 shots and I am talking 3 minute break.... |

If only we could build cameras like we can computers,
I would keep my current camera if it had 4 more options. 2 higher ISO settings 512mb buffer 1 or 2 mega pix higher... for Print |
