with current gas prices and not even taking the amount of time you would lose.. how much do you think it would cost to drive it. My guess would be roughly the same amount.

Airplanes aren't cheap and all the shit they have to do security wise today doesn't make it any cheaper.

not counting the time, it would only cost $250 US return for gas or less even with the prices the way they are. I can Drive it in 22-23hrs driving time

You could fly into a bigger Florida city and drive. Just a thought for cutting the cost. Lots of dirt cheap flights to Orlando.

Nope NO airmiles..............I always pick the cheapest availble airline NO loyalty. I had airmiles before, then they go bankrupt and what have you gained ? They talk about Terrorism........Well this is Terrorism as well, Economic terrorism, and there is nothing you can do about it. Take it or leave it . They wonder why airlines go Bankrupt, and they go for government handouts, so you get fucked twice as hard.

ajpiii.........just for your info....Its Not what you make but what you keep, when you grow up you will realise that

I do agree with you in general about gov'ts taxing people way to much on all levels!

Damn that really must suck. But how much would the taxes cost on a $3000 flight. Maybe there is just some $150 fee + % of plane ticket. So on a $3000 flight the taxes might cost only about $200.

JFK why not just drive down to Buffalo and then fly? It might be considerably cheaper and the drive to Buffalo is only 2 hours.

we just paid C$527 for Montreal-Phoenix for our departure June 7th

i was happy with that price... but the extra shit on top of the ticket really adds up

they'd be better off not breaking it down like that

Yup frequent flier programs are getting shittier every year. Some airlines even have a yearly fee to join their program now.

Just get the cheapest ticket and charge it with a credit card/bank that has a rewards program that is independent of airline with no blackouts
