PPC Finally Working Like It Should

I've always thought that if visitors are clicking on a link that says "Credit Card Required... bla bla bla" my conversion ratio should be great. They know they need a cc before they even get to the page, how could they be freeloading?

But until now, my PPC conversation ratios have not been stellar, in fact I was just breaking even.

UNTIL NOW - Finally found a good smaller PPC engine, and although it takes a little longer to get the traffic, it's converting like a mother fucker.

1:105

$37 spent, $160 grossed.

Can't complain about that, just got to get more keywords and make the traffic come a bit quicker.

How do you guys convert with PPC?

I love those great finds

I do this all the time. The secret is don't tell anyone wouldn't want things to become over saturated now would we

It's great being able to spend $30 and gross +$200

Conversions or traffic is down for you?
Yesterday was one of my best Overture days but Google/Findwhat has been down the last few days. Go figure.

Most PPC engines have keyword finder tools, where you can type in a general word like "Amateurs" and it will tell you the top search terms that contain that word.

Other standard rules, state the price in your ad in order to minimize worthless clicks, and keep it as relevent as possible.

WG, I know you're the expert, why don't you give us all some tips?

BTW, The PPC I'm using DOES have a referral program, but I have to wait for my account to be 'approved' before I get credit. I've got this thread bookmarked and I'll post the link as soon as I get approved.

thanks for the help, I got this thread bookmarked too. What about in terms of how much to pay for keywords, any general guidelines for that?

Definitely start with a small niche that you can achieve high ROI. For example, start with squirting pussies or hairy girls. These small micro-niches can get you a better ROI than teens or mature or hardcore. From there, you can start tweaking your advertising to increase your ROI. Once you've tested out a few campaigns with a couple PPC engines, you can start to expand into bigger niches.

If you have specific questions, let me know and I'll do my best to answer them.

Conversions are about the same. Traffic has really dropped with Findwhat even on "free" terms.

Get in contact with a sales rep, I have a sales rep there I contact whenever I add a new campaign and he expediates everything for me without any hassles. Their editors are a hassle but once you're approved, it's clear sailing from there. The 5c minimums are a bit of a hassle, but I like their keyword matching tool they added a few weeks ago. Makes it easier to get more keywords covered by your bids (similiar to Overture's matching tool).

You're right, I'm looking at my accounts now and only one of them has high traffic, the rest seem rather low.

thanks for the tips :-)

Do you have any suggestions in terms of picking out keywords? I am just checking out the different tools provided by overture and google to find keywords for now that are not saturated. also I am abit confused on how to determine how much to bid for on keywords.

You just need to look at what other people are bidding, and decide where you want to be in the listings.

Depending on the engine, get yourself in the top ten then see how the traffic is. If it's adequate and it converts, up your bids and get yourself into the top three.

When you are paying too much and it's not profitable, obviously you will need to adjust your bids as well as your listings.

I'm no expert, but I can tell you, it takes some time and patience (and $$) to find a good balance.

Thanks for the tip bro

Do you stay away from keywords with free in it? I'm just thinking those clicks would waste your money as those surfers are less likely to pay for porn.

It depends. If you are using a 'free' email-only program, you may be alright using keywords with 'free' in them.

On the same note, if your listing says "Free trial for adults with credit cards etc etc" ... you are doing a bit of pre-targeting and you might be alright.

"Free" can definitely bring in some clicks, though.

HE is talking about SEARCHFEED

for example:
http://www.searchfeed.com/rd/SearchR...amateur+p orn

They are good you just need to know how to use them/target correctly. Findwhat is also good but again you have to have a fair concept of how to get the correct surfers in there. Dont think quantity think quality. I know I hate seeing the trickle and every now and again and go and try to boost up the clicks but its best to trickle instead of trying to make it overflow if ya know what I mean.

This may help a few of you, now excuse me while i go open another can of sp..... I mean

Here is jawanda's ref code for anyone that missed it.
