Anyone here buy clothes in Italy??
has anyone ever bought clothes directly from a designer outlet and flown them or shipped them back here for profit??
is this a good idea, I see ppeople on ebay selling designer clothes left and right for 1/2 retail price... maybe they're knock offs but I heard what I suggested could be done... anyone? |

Buying clothes from europe and shipping it here after all is said and done will cost your 3 arms and 2 legs.
I am certain that unless you are a huge ditributor or an importer of sorts that it would be extremely cost prohibitive. Especially now that they're prices are in Euros it would be double what it was before practically. One more thing, clothes in italy are Very Far from Cheap. |

i doubt importing them would be a problem i have ties with a import/export logistics company. the problem definately is the cost of the clothing i guess since the cureency has changed it wouldn't be worth doing something like this??

I have to get to Italy too before I drop dead. Venice is the first place I want to go...of course I will have to visit Rome too.

Even the big fashion companies don't make eveything in italy, the final product is assembled in Italy so they can legally say it's MADE IN ITALY.
They farm out a lot of work to Ukrain and places like that for cheap labour. You can find great deals on genuine stuff in the sales, there are also shops that buy hugh amounts of end of line product that would be worth a look at to help ya. If you wanted knock off, Europe is not the place...
