Verotel or CCBill???
What do you guys think, which one would you choose to handle your affiliate program? Also, webmasters which program would you rather promote, a one using Verotel or CCBill?

Mmmm.. first, it depends where you are located.
A comparison between Verotel and CCBill will have CCBill off the chart and nowhere in the company of Verotel :-) Your choice depends on where your biz is located - if you are located in Europe, no problem - deal with CCBillEU. If you are located in the Wonderful World Of VISA North America - well, we all have problems in life! ![]() |

I don't think there is much choice - definately CCBill!
The "down side" is that you will have to open your life and business affairs to VISA US (and all other "interested parties") and actually pay for the priviledge :-) Verotel are not really the kinda processors that appeal to affiliate webmasters as a rule - CCBill are much stronger :-) |

We have used both and I'd say hands down, CCBill........ we had WAYYYYYYYYYYYY too many issues with Verotel. You don't get NEAR the advantages with Verotel as you do with CCBill and we had VERY few signup with our program thru them...... go with CCBill if this is your only two choices.

I've tried both. CCBill's scrubbing cut my income by half. Verotel works fine for me, excellent conversion without any chargeback probs. Actually my CB ratio is slightly lower than it used to be with CCBill.

Do it both ways,
1. ccbill for affiliate referred sales, they'll scrub harder but you'll probably make more sales in the long run since no one wants to promote a Verotel program. 2. Verotel for your own generated traffic. Your join page could check for the presence of a cookie that marks the traffic as 'internal' - if it's there then it shows Verotel + ccbill as backup, otherwise it shows ccbill only... |

Also use EPOCH as a backup proccessor incase you have a problem with CCBILL at some point. It is like using Southern CA Edison and Pacific Gas and Electric, if one loses power, you just switch it all to the other.
