Photoshop restarting my PC...

Anyone who have experienced this, when working in photoshop sometimes when you move a image inside another image, PC just restarts and all work is gone if not saved just before that...
(windows xp)

Do you have an Athlon processor? The last two Athlon systems I built had rebooting problems although they were not tied to any one particular application.

Edit > Preferences > Memory And Image Cache

Try to increase the amount of RAM allocated to Photoshop restart the app and see if it helps....

I have an Athlon and there is a simple fix to that rebooting problem.

Cache is set to: 4
Memory usage: 50% (512 mb ram)

I will try to mix a little with those numbers, and se what happens...thanks.
