any good places to find decent airfares to europe other than cheaptickets.com?

If you're from New York, you'll probably find cool fares, keep in mind that after June 23 and until end of August, it's high season for travel between North America and Europe....

You should be able to get a RT for around $480 on BA or Swiss or Iberia, they're running specials.

Try orbitz.com, hotwire.com, expdia.com or travelocity.com
they usually purchases bunch of seats in advance

Orbitz used to be my favorite until I had to fly home early from a trip and wasn't able to pay the fee and exchange my ticket. It took a few hours on the phone with both Orbitz and the airlines to get approved as an exception and be allowed on.

Now I use Expedia, Priceline, and Hotwire.

i used hotwire last time i had to travel, was short notice (2 days before departure) wound up gettin the tickets RT for less then 250 from new orleans to DC
