Look for good track record, uptime, support and so on...

Same here. I have seen my old sites go down often with cheap hosts that offer tons of bandwich. Lessons learned.

I went with freehosting and then decent hosting... I was going to go with cheap hosting but I saw a thread like this one a while back too

Shit, all hosting is cheap these days, when I started it cost you 2500 a month for a fucking sparc 10 and 6 bucks a gig overage, go for a reliable company, if you go on price alone, youll eventually get fucked
