BURNING ISSUE FROM ATLANTA.......The "HANS" question... a Fed? ... an Alien?....WTF?

It is my firm opinion that this so-called "Hans", was either an:

Undercover Federal Agent posing as a mysterious idiot with a German first name, and Dutch middle name, and a Danish last name. Whenever asked what he did....he would just mumble "everything" and then refuse to answer anything else....and then, to add to the riddle, he said that he was Dutch, and big in the business, but didn't know any of the dutch players, and they didn't know him. (He also spent a lot of time taking pictures of big groups of us wearing our badges....)

or,

He was an alien that had been accidentally seperated from his mother ship.

DISCUSS....

I liked Hans.

He was definitely a little out there and aggressive, but I am a pretty laid back guy, so I didn't much care.

I think most people just thought he was interesting a quite funny!

My guess would be he was a reporter...

1.) he skipped out on a lunch bill
2.) he always appeared to be fucked up.
3.) he never really asked questions of what people did, he just hung out.

more action of a reporter, than of a fed, but you never know with Bush at the helm what al is capable...

Hans really got on my nerves at first, but then he grew on me like a fungus.

The last night at the "Compound" Brand0n and I got the biggest kick out of watching him "escape" from our private party to mingle and exasperate the local Atlanta clubbers.

BTW, did anyone check out the rest of the "Compound". That place was HUGE. Must have been over 1,000 people in the back two buildings.

Interesting theories on Hans... the reporter one is the most plausable.... for 4 days of watching him, I NEVER saw him talking ANY type of biz with ANYONE... just hanging around....

You guys are forgetting KK has emails from him from BEFORE the show.

And I'm not sure how ID's would help keep ANYONE out - I have my own company with me as my own employee. This is the first show where I've been representing another company. Ergo, anyone one, even Hans, can start a company (heck, even make one up on the fly) and register

Exactly man. The guy wasn't that bad, at least not enough to bring out anger. He was just having a good time.

The check he walked out on was mine and in his defense, he came back to pay it. Everyone chipped in for him, it did not break anyone's bank at that table, rest assured.

He wasn't a fed. He actually did have accounts and know people. He was just traveling the world best I understood the situation. I am sure the Feds could do better in the way of recruiting a spy.

He didn't get in the way of my business at all. I got more done in Atlanta than in Phoenix truth be told. I met people because of him being such a common bond between people topic-wise.

Sometimes, you gotta just be able to sit back and laugh.

PureCash gives Hans a big Thumbsup!

He can have some of our Krispy Kremes anytime he likes!

I don't see how ID's would help either. The feds use undercover ID's all the time.

I think a system with the intent of screening out law enforcement would be a red-flag and invitation for them to actually send in undercover operators.

And Han's is not a Fed. He didn't ask me any personal or revealing questions. He's just a guy that made a few bucks on his sites and wanted to have some fun. I bought Hans a drink and he drank it, which I don't think undercover cops can do.

I've dealt with the Feds. They showed up on doorstep one morning with a suponea for one of my sites. They took down my driver's license number, the license plate numbrers for all the cars in my driveway, and who knows what else. Hans was not after any personal info.

The Compound was unbeleivable. I talked to some locals and they said that it was actually the owners house. He just decided to convert it into a nightclub. Also did anyone buy any ciggarettes there? I bought a pack of Marlboro lights and they had Russian packaging and stamps, the filters were brown. Weird. Some pics:

Actually, those Krispy Kreams WERE great!

Unfortunately, after eating them, I apparently went to sleep in one of the chairs in the upper level of the lobby.

By MY perception, I just closed my eyes for a sec, then thought that I must be really tired, and went up to my room, but it turns out that I actually fell asleep for about an hour and that three security guards tried to wake me up.....and had to be bribed away with doughnuts.

I think that his quote "He was an alien that had been accidentally seperated from his mother ship" should have been a clue that it was posted in jest. However the alien theory is more probable then a secret agent.

One thing is for sure.... he really does like the ladies!!!
