Keyword spamming with domain names, how do you stop it? - GoFuckYourself.com

Any ideas how to go about stopping other sites that list your domain name as a search term on their pages in hopes of getting a higher ranking?

One domain of ours that has been dormant for some time is coming up in searches before ours, but is also including terms like younger-teens which I have a real problem with.

I see this with www.adult.com, Does Lensman have a team of rabid lawyers stopping sites that don't promote Adult.com from using www.adult.com as a search term?

I'm open for suggestions as the whois on most of these domains are in Australia, Poland, China, Ohio.

"Adult" is a generic word like "porn" or "sex", so there's little that can be done about adult.com being used by other sites.

If you have a trademark you might be able to waste a lot of time and money trying to stop people, but they use scripts that can generate millions of pages a day. Do you have time to send out millions of cease and desist letters every day?

Even Playboy can't stop it.

they're just trying to eat.. worry about the people doing worse things.

Yeah, but its not helping my Google Pagerank if all these companies are spamming my domain in their doorway pages. I want to eat later on in life, I'm never going to see any of that Social Security money I pay now.

As far as worrying about people doing worse things, that's the day job, I'm tired of worrying about things nobody cares about, until something does happen and THEN they care about it.

Report them to google.
