not only that, with hundreds of sales and rebills I haven't had ONE chargeback in the last 10 months - 5 refunds, but no chargebacks.

Already have 2 chargebacks for today, with one click registered.

Great way to start the day off....

I have been slightly less than impressed with CCBILL stats lately aswell. I havent had any chargebacks yet, but click thru's AND signups are down. Sigh.

Who cares about clicks if they are keeping the signups accurate.

They have been having lots of problems lately with that moster backend though.

Yeah Epoch .. Paycom is great if you like to wait at LEAST 4-20 days for an email response.

Sure their system is ok, but a week for an email response. It took me a month just to get my reseller crap sorted out.

I actually signed up through one of my ccbill sponsors earlier after a fellow webmaster attempted to signup to one of my sites and his card was declined (No clue why).
My sale was credited, but no click-thru registered. Gotta love those magical 1:0 ratio's.
Normally I wouldnt care about click-thrus showing up as long as the sales are counting, but I just started an adword campaign on that particular site last night and also changed the layout and Im curious to see if its helping or hurting things.
Its nice to be able to rely on my stats for conversion techniques and instead Im in the dark.
CCbill needs to get this shit fixed soon or Im going to end up dropping some programs that have treated me very well in the past simply because of the processor they use.

My prediction:

I lot of webmasters will drop CCBill if they don't get straight with their webmasters. Bad stats, scrubbing etc.

Sounds like your experiencing the same thing I am right now. Click thru's only show up when you get a sale. And for me the sale showed up before the clickthru. Atleast I know Im not alone.

Everyone (who matters) knows that CCBill scrubs too hard. You will end up with a 1:300 ratio with CCbill and a 1:200 ratio with the real processors.

Do you see any large programs processing with CCbill ?

Lots of big programs go with ccbill... however those averages are off.. Generall I find anything that goes 1:300 with another processor goes 1:1200 or worse with ccbill, but that's just my personal experience

ok what large programs process with ccbill? I dont mean any programs which use cascading processing. Actually I suppose that is unfair because a lot do ;)

Anyhow, my point is that ccbill scrubs way too hard, and you get shit ratios with them compared to other processors.

all i know is ccBill really needs to do something w/ this scrubbing of rebills... i am getting a stack of 'failed rebill' emails almost every day now, today being the worst so far... most of them are long-time customers, so i doubt that they all went broke at once after rebilling time and time again for months until recently. one point of interest to me was that every one of these failed rebills are from european members, whatever that could mean..

yeah, CCBill scrubs way too hard... alot of big programs do still use them though (don't want to name any, because it will sound like we're bashing them).

They're doing it to keep their chargeback ratio under 1%, but I think a better way to do it would be to report all the fraudulent webmasters they catch to the police.

I bet most of the chargebacks come from a very small percentage of webmasters.

You could cut out a few countries and I am sure you could halve your chargeback ratio.

Anyhow, how do you report a Russian webmaster to the police ?

i don't know if i think that makes any sense though... wouldn't the denial of rebills that have proven in the past to be good transactions make the chargeback ratio worse? it would seem the lower the number of good transactions to pool together the higher the chargeback ratio's would go... i can see scrubbing new transactions, but good rebills? what purpose would that serve, for me or them..?
