If that is the reason for Disney's move, it would underscore the dangers of allowing huge conglomerates to gobble up diverse media companies.

No. Republicans propose amendments to the constitution to ban gay marriage, flag burning and other 'offensive' personal expressions. Democrats propose amendments for such trivial things as civil rights and universal sufferage.

They may both like Big Business, but it seems from campaign donation patterns that Big Business only likes Conservatives.

Dems like social programs more than prison because it's cheaper to pay tuition for a year than it is to keep someone locked up for a year, and educated people are much less likely to commit crimes.

I don't see any harm releasing Moore's movie. We have been told, as close to officially as is likely to happen, that we have invaded a country based on, if not lies, then at least on a very generous interpretation of the truth.

In the US it costs $150 million in campaign funds to pay for the publicity necessary to elect (or perhaps not elect) a Republican president.

And here we have a thread that attempts to dismiss someone's whole message because he is good at his job and knows how to get the maximum attention for himself and what he has to say.

Were that not enough, the intellectual level of those making that attempt is such they seem unable to hahahahaha a few sentences without including words like "dickhead" and "moron" at every turn.
