New ideas on nice laptop and desktops
Some of you may know I just had a flood in my basement resulting in some serious damage. What I need to go is get some prices of some decent laptops and submit them to the company and they're going to basicly going to just cut me a check.
I've been looking at a few dell laptops and a few HP's but not sure exactaly what I want. Here is the only two I have priced out from HP: HP ze4700 series Price: $1073.00 - $100 mail in rebate = $973.00 AMD Athlon XP-M 2600+ 2GHz 256MB DDR SDRAM 30GB 4200 RPM HD DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive 54g Integrated Broadcom 802.11 b/g Wireless lan 15.0" TFT XGA Screen ATI Mobility Radeon ------------------------------- HP zv5000 series Price: $1198.00 - $100 mail in rebate = $1098.00 Intel Pentium 4 2.4GHz 256MB DDR SDRam (1 DIMM) 40GB 4200RPM HD DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive I really haven't chosen which ones I really like or do not like yet. Going to be looking around for a few days. The price is not really a factor but I want to keep it around or below $1200. As far as the desktops go, I really have no clue what I want. I could build one but im too lazy and just want to buy one flat out....Any ideas on some nice desktops??? Price around the same for the desktop as the laptop. ![]()

computer manufactures get one chance with me... they fuck up, i dont use them anymore. Dell and HP desktops have both caused serious problems for me.
The Sony RS and RZ series are great... i have the RS 530G loaded with 1.5Ghz of DDR ram and its great. only 1200 bucks. I've also had great experiences with e-machines but only the pentium versions, not the athalons. |
