Why is Fiber Optic equipment so expensive?
I get these catalogs from different companies all the time. ( Fucking Corp Place prob sold the info)
Anyways 25k for a fiber splicing machine? 8k for like a meter? I should look into this shit...wonder what the markups are on these machines... |

Because, it's not that common, Fiber Optic isn't used as much as older technology. Once it really starts going, it'll be cheaper!
