What is a nice simple softwear program that can convert film files b(ie mpeg, avi, wmv) into a flash film?

as long as you're using Flash MX or later, it's built in.
Just import the movie into Flash & publish it. It takes a while to get the settings dialed for optimum filesize though. |

fktup is right. You don't need anything. Flash Supports most movie types. You shoul be able to just import it into flash and drag in onto the timeline.
